Not all requests will be approved depending on length of time, instrumentation, etc. At this time we are not able to accommodate requests to perform other movements from concertos by Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev concertos/movements. Due to difficulties in acquiring orchestra parts, we are unable to do performances of the concertos by Shostakovich.
Step #1.
Select a concerto MOVEMENT from the list above. The movement chosen will also be performed in the lesson and masterclass with the CCW faculty, during the orchestral rehearsal and at the final performance with orchestra. Works do not need to be memorized but must be prepared for performance.
Step #2.
Prepare a recording of yourself performing the concerto movement that you wish to play at the workshop as stated above. You may include a second piano performing the orchestra reduction or if not available, you may simply perform the solo piano part alone, provide a link to the performance posted on YouTube.
